All in-processing will be conducted at PA Wing Headquarters. Parents and/or drivers will be required to wait in the arranged parents lounge while their cadets in-process to make sure all paperwork and payment is complete and contraband released to the appropriate individual (parent or squadron leadership).
If you require medication, be sure to only bring enough to last you the week. No more, no less. Medications (prescription and over-the-counter) must be in the original container that is clearly labeled with the drug name and dosage instructions. Do not put any medications in plastic bags. Prescription medication must have a note from the physician describing use instructions AND be noted on the medical form included in the signature packet. Non-prescription medication must be noted on the medical form included in the signature packet.
Please eat before you arrive for sign-in. The first meal you will receive at our school will be dinner on Sunday. All signature packets must be mailed by June 2, 2017 to ensure validation prior to the school. Students will NOT be allowed to hand carry signature packets to our school.
Cadets must have their valid CAPID card on their person for sign-in.
Packing Lists & Contraband
Ensuring you are well prepared for the week means you have all the proper supplies you need to be successful. Please pay attention to the packing lists and ask your squadron to help find any supplies you may have issues procuring. All gear will be inspected upon arrival. Please pay attention to the contraband list on the second page of your respective packing list.
THE FOLLOWING PACKING LISTS HAVE BEEN UPDATED TO COMPLY WITH CAPM 39-1:
Problems with packing or contraband can be solved by working with your home squadron to have a “run through” a week or two prior to your school. The cadet can pack their gear and bring it to the squadron and have a cadet staff or senior member go through the gear with them item by item and check it off on the list. This will greatly help the cadet pass smoothly through in-processing at the Encampment.
TYPICAL PROBLEMS THAT CAUSE DELAYS:
1) Incomplete paperwork submitted prior to school.
2) Gear not securely packed and easily able to move.
3) Arrival outside of allocated time for registered school.
